This gameplay clip first featured Junpei, Akihiko, and the hero’s party exploring Tartarus, where they first encounter Fuuka Yamejishi, SEES’ ultimate navigator in Persona 3. It also shows some scenes where the player can talk to a girl outside the school, presumably as part of her social bond. The show also features scenes from the game’s story, such as the introduction of Mitsuru Kiriju coming to the rescue of the inexperienced members of Tartaros on her bike.
The second half shows the other senior member of SEES, Akihiko Sanada, helping his youngsters around the Tartaros block. From there, it moves into a short battle, where Akihiko summons his Persona Polydeuces, with a quick glance at the game’s new user interface. The trailer also ends on the game’s new victory screen, with all four party members exiting the fray, and the downed one being the final blow in the middle of the shot. Fans have noticed how this screen has taken a more elegant path reminiscent of it Persona 5Art mass attack victory screen.
Following this trailer, Faz, a YouTuber who focuses on the JRPG, points out what the music will likely sound like after it’s rearranged.
