Montpellier: A Decade of Transformation and Resilience in the LGBT-Friendly City

On the Place du Marché-aux-Fleurs, in the historic center of Montpellier, the members of Rando’s Midi are seated at the café Au Loup for their weekly meeting – inside, because the south woke up to the rain on this Thursday morning. Founded in 1988, the LGBTQI+ hiking club has witnessed the evolution of the city which, in 2012, was awarded by the readers of stubborn· for its atmosphere, its associations, its security and its welcoming businesses.
