Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake just received its first trailer at SDCC2023, and we have a new look at the spinoff series.
As you’d expect, the series, starring Fiona and Cake, is a spin-off of the original Adventure Time cartoon, and will show us the story of a fairly normal-looking world that’s been infused with plenty of magic as the titular characters seek to make their lives more interesting.
The show will also feature Tom Kenny returning to his role as Simon, formerly the Ice King. Originally, Fionna & Cake were meant to appear in a one-off special, but they proved so popular that they returned in the original run of Adventure Time. Now, Max is giving them their own series, which will premiere on August 31st. Check out the first trailer below:
