Crown Prince Haakon turned 50 on Thursday this week, which the royal house marked on its social media. On Instagram, they published a photo carousel with several private photos of the royal family, and there is one in particular that stands out.
About the festival incident: – Quite unacceptable
In one of the pictures, Crown Prince Haakon, Princess Ingrid Alexandra (19) and King Harald (86) are sitting on a bench in the sun, studying some sunglasses.
However, it is the princess’s upper arm that has received the most attention in the comments section. On his upper arm, the heir has what looks like a tattoo.
Asking questions
Under the post that the royal house has published on Instagram, some followers are asking if the princess has gotten ink on her arm.
“Has the princess got a tattoo?”, asks a follower on Instagram.

In a picture See and listen has been taken, you can make out the same motif as in the picture the royal house itself has published – albeit somewhat faded.
It is not known when the royal house’s picture was taken, but Se og Hør’s picture was photographed on 11 July this year. Perhaps the princess has adorned her arm with a fake tattoo in connection with the festival summer?
The police confirm the incident
Dagbladet has asked the royal house questions about what is actually on the princess’s upper arm. The castle’s communications manager, Guri Varpe, has responded as follows to Dagbladet’s e-mail:

“We have no knowledge of that.”
Dagbladet further asked whether it was possible to get clarity on what is on the princess’s arm. The inquiry has not yet been answered.
– Not the first
Se og Hør’s royal house expert, Caroline Vagle, does not hide that she too was a little taken aback when she saw the picture of Princess Ingrid Alexandra.
Arousing attention: – Very popular
– Yes, what is this really? I must say I wondered a little about that when I saw the picture, Vagle says laughingly to Dagbladet.
She says that she has also noticed the speculation that abounds online.

– It can look a bit like a bird of some kind.
Nevertheless, Vagle is clear:
– But I don’t think it’s a real tattoo. Maybe it could be adhesive residue from sports tape? I do not know.

She adds that if it had been a real tattoo, Ingrid Alexandra would not have been the first with both blue blood and ink.
– For example, both Crown Prince Fredrik and Princess Sofia have tattoos, concludes Vagle.
