On the occasion of his 33rd birthday this Tuesday, the Mexican boxer Canelo Álvarez addressed his detractors with a strong message that he published on his social networks.
A post on Instagram was enough to respond to those who believe that Canelo Álvarez is neglecting his work in boxing to enjoy his free time participating in golf tournaments such as the one held at the 2023 American Century Championship, where he shared with other stars such as Stephen Curry.
Before this the boxer was shown in a video where he throws some punches with his personal trainer Eddy Reynoso.
“I am always ready. Happy Birthday to me. Let me tell you one thing. I don’t need to get ready cause I’m always ready motherfuckersAlvarez commented.
The video also serves as a preview of the super middleweight bout where he will meet on September 30 against Jermell Charlo in Las Vegas.
If he won in that fight, Canelo Álvarez would confirm his undisputed dominance as super middleweight champion, becoming the only Mexican who has been able to unify all the belts.
