Transports Canada announces the recall of 13 model year 2024 Freightliner eCascadia.
On certain eCascadia electric trucks, the drive axle planetary gears may not have been welded properly.

Consequently, the gears could break and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels, which could increase the risk of an accident.
Daimler Truck North America must notify owners by mail. Corrective actions for this recall are under development.
