komunikasulut.com – The Kotamobagu Government (Pemkot) through the Health Service (Dinkes) again appealed to the public to continue to increase their awareness of the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the midst of the current uncertain weather which often hits the Kotamobagu City area.
This was conveyed by the Acting Head of the Kotamobagu Health Office, Fernando Mongkau. He explained, the high rainfall was feared would make it easier for the Aedes Aegypti mosquito to breed.
“The public is urged to increase their vigilance by taking various steps to prevent and anticipate early on, including by implementing the 4M Plus movement,” he said, Thursday (20/7/2023).
Mongkau said that from January to July 2023, there were 91 cases of dengue fever in Kotamobagu City.
“Let’s not add to the numbers any more and the point is our awareness to always be vigilant and do what the government has recommended,” he said.
