Warning to institutions that have violated the lunch break rule

Kuwait City: In Kuwait, 148 business owners who did not follow the lunch break law were warned. The Manpower Authority revealed that the violations were discovered by the team tasked to check whether the midday break law is being properly implemented. From June 1 to August 31, work in open areas exposed to direct sunlight is prohibited during certain hours.

The Manpower Authority informed that they have re-inspected the places where violations of the law were found earlier and the law has been followed. It was found that 132 institutions were operating in compliance with the law. The officials also stated that inspections will continue widely to ensure that the law is properly followed. 11:00 pm to 4:00 pm is allowed for those working in open areas.
