“Medea” emerged from Euripides as a timeless symbol of the eternal battle between the two sexes. A tragedy of passion, an alternating game of balance between life and death, centered on love. A tragic story that has remained timeless through the ages. Euripides, witness of refugee, loss and war and eternal prophet of truth, writes about the destructive consequences of uncontrolled passion in man, marginalization and exclusion.
Plot: Jason decides to leave Medea to marry Glaucus, daughter of the King of Corinth, Creon, claiming a share in power.
