In any case, every day, scientists and researchers work to transform old technologies into new and even more effective ones. This is the case of an invention created many years ago, approximately in 1795, but there are reports that it was already used well before that.

From the pencil! That’s right: recently, a new technology was developed to further modernize the item. Have you ever imagined a pencil that never ends? This is the proposal presented by Stilform Aeon, the infinite pencil.
This pencil grew out of a Kickstarter campaign and was designed with immortality in mind. The engineering behind the project seeks to reinvent the traditional pencil for our modern world.
How does the infinity pencil work?

The secret of the infinity pencil is in its tip, which is made of pewter and bismuth, non-toxic and completely natural. The tip mimics the marks of a traditional graphite pencil on paper, but is actually made from a different material.
The great trick is that this type of tip does not wear out, instead it can be easily replaced by other tips that are available on the pencil designer’s website, thus ensuring that the pencil lasts forever.
In addition to the tip, the design of the pencil body also changes. In this new model, the bodies are made of magnesium, brass or titanium and coated with a glossy DLC (Diamond-Like Coating).
The pencil also features a walnut, ebony, or maple blade. Plus, if you’ve ever had issues with your pencil falling or rolling across your desk, the Aeon won’t. The new pencil has flat edges that prevent your pencil from “running”, or rather, rolling and falling to the floor.
According to the brand responsible for the product, in addition to the material being more aesthetically beautiful and giving the product a refined air, it is also more ecological and sustainable.
