Finland Revokes License of Russian Consulate General in Turku

Finland has decided to revoke the license of the Russian Consulate General in the city of Turku from October 1, 2023.

Details: It is reported that this decision was taken as a result of discussions between President Sauli Niinistjo and the Committee of the Council of Ministers on Foreign and Security Policy.

It is a response to the closure of the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg.
