(CNN) — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on Wednesday in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, on the last leg of his Gulf tour, which included Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received the Turkish President, who is expected later to meet the President of the State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as economic cooperation tops his agenda.
The official Turkish Anatolia news agency said that Turkey and the UAE are expected to sign several agreements during Erdogan’s visit, pointing out that the Turkish president said that his tour aims to complete Gulf investment deals in the Turkish economy.
Erdogan was in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Tuesday, where he met the Emir of the country, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
