We spoke with NCsoft and Amazon Games about two changing aspects that may go beyond the game itself.
Article: David Caballero – Gamereactor.cnThrone & Liberty is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious MMORPGs of all time, and in recent interviews with NCsoft developers and Amazon Games publisher, we learned more about how changing the shape of characters and the weather in the game can also change the way players play. Things that can be done traditionally in the genre. From left to right, we chat with design director Moonseop Lee, lead producer Jongok Ahn, and Amazon Games franchise head Merv Lee Kwai: “For example, when people play this game on one venue, it can be the same One realm, but we want players to have various experiences even in one realm,” the lead producer explained behind the weather changes. “Maybe at night, people turn into werewolves, or when it rains, the vegetation, trees, plants, they all change. So yeah, that sort of thing, also depending on the weather or the day/night cycle, the rewards can be different”” For example, one of the things that morphing can do is travel, world traversing,” added the design director later on the morphing feature. “So when you go on land, in the air, in the sea, you turn into various creatures that serve as vehicles for your world. Besides that, we have guardians. It’s a very special kind of creature, and you can turn into a very special kind of creature , like the ultimate power of your game.
But it had a long cool time and it was introduced into the game. People can also transform into puppets. Then the golem can collapse, tearing down the walls. So that’s your special feature in battle in war.” Take part in the full interview to learn more about the different PvP, PvE and PvX modes, including Castle Siege, the game’s ambitious graphics, community feedback on the game’s progress and combat (both of which will be improved in new tech betas), or Cross-play functionality between PC, Xbox Series X and PS5.If you want to see the MMORPG in action, here’s our first 24 minutes with Throne & Liberty and our shapeshifting starkids on Xbox Series X too:Source: Gamereactor.cn
