Not old enough

The guards refused Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus access to the premium area because of their age. You must be at least 20 years old to gain access to the area. After that See and listen experiences, it was well known to the guards that Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus are both under 20 years old.

According to See and listen is the age limit to enter the area absolute. Persons under the age of 20 cannot enter the area, even when accompanied by adults.

The police took action

Despite the absolute age limit, the siblings were eventually allowed to join Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit in the area. It happened after bodyguards from the Royal Police Escort had a chat with the guards.

According to The online newspaper The Police Security Service (PST) confirms the sequence of events to See and listen and that the two teenagers were allowed into the premium area for security reasons.

The Crown Prince’s family always has bodyguards from the Royal Police Escort with them when they are out among many people.
