BVAfter the flamboyant Candice Martens (33), there is a new love in the life of Marijn Lenaerts (39). He posted photos with her for the first time, from vacationing in Spain. Marijn is still secretive about her identity: “She prefers not to be in the spotlight,” he says.
“We met for the first time at the ‘Solomun Open Air’ event in the Cinquantenaire Park. A mutual friend introduced us to each other and we hit it off right away,” says Marijn. “We kept talking all night after the first ‘hello’. It turned out to be a nice evening,” he says.
Marijn was married to Candice for two years. The two got married during the sixth season of ‘Blind Married’. Even during the first meeting, there were fireworks between the two. And during the honeymoon they immediately experienced passionate nights. They really were the crowd favorites of the season. Although there was the eternal discussion: where would they live? Candice comes from Beveren, Marijn lives in Binkom near Lubbeek. Eventually Candice tacked and moved for her great love, but in August last year the two unexpectedly announced that they were separating after two years.
Marijn would rather not say who the new woman in his life is. “She doesn’t like being in the spotlight,” she said. The holiday took them to Estepona, Spain last week. They enjoyed the sun and clearly also each other. “It’s still quite early, we’ve known each other for about six weeks now. The holiday was to get to know each other a little better. A week in the sun.”
