While the heat wave is ravaging southern Europe, the weather is not quite the same for those who have taken their holidays here at home.
The worst is in Western Norway, which will receive the most rainfall on Tuesday.
– There are showers along large parts of the coast and all of Western Norway, central Norway and up towards Nordland, Troms and Finnmark, says state meteorologist Dina Stabell.
Here you have to go with your umbrella for most of the week, with the exception of Nordland, which will gradually get better weather.
The “monster” has struck
In addition to Western Norway, large parts of Finnmark are severely affected by rainfall. A warning has been issued for torrential rain from 1pm to 2am on Wednesday.
– 20 mm of precipitation is expected in one hour in Finnmark, warns the meteorologist.
The Norwegian Meteorological Institute recommends, among other things, the Finnish markings to adapt the speed and drive according to the conditionsavoid unnecessary traffic in exposed places and to keep up to date on weather warnings and developments.

But it’s not all bad news. In Eastern Norway and in Southern Norway, there will mostly be stays. Here you can occasionally use the sunglasses.
– This is one of the places where it is the finest. There will be a good deal of lingering weather in the next few days, with changing cloud cover, says Stabell.
In the west of Agder, there may be some rain on Wednesday.
Sad message: – Promise to complain now
The weekend weather
Friday will offer scattered showers throughout southern Norway. In Nordland, all you have to do is bring out the umbrella, here the most rainfall occurs on Friday.
– Troms and Finnmark look fine, says the meteorologist.
Friday’s weather sets the tone for the rest of the weekend, according to Stabell.
On Sunday, low pressure is expected from the south, bringing with it rain.
– There will be most precipitation in Southern Norway and Western Norway, but also a little south in Eastern Norway. It stays fine north of Stadt, says the meteorologist.
