More than 7000 young Quebecers have been met by the squads of the charity Alloprof in order to receive advice on how to succeed in their summer courses or their exam retakes.
This is a figure twice as high as in 2022, according to the school body.
In addition to offering theoretical notions on various school subjects on its website, Alloprof has set up squads to help students during the summer.
“Last summer, more than 18,500 high school students took retake exams in Quebec,” the organization said in a statement. In comparison, more than 20,000 people will have to attend summer courses or retake their exams this year.
Until July 31, Alloprof will remain open and accessible to support and help young people who are failing at school.
