The former mayor of Jūrmala, Gatis Truksnis, businessman and politician Uldis Pīlēns, as well as other more and less well-known people were noticeable among the guests. The author of the opera Zigmārs Liepiņš also came to watch the concert performance with his wife.
Ilze Grevele-Skaraine (Esmeralda), Don (Quasimodo), Edgars Ošleja (Claude Frolo), Ieva Parša (Gudula) played the main roles in the opera. The musical accompaniment was performed by the Jurmala Festival Choir and Jurmala Festival Orchestra, conducted by Mārtiņš Ozoliņš. The director of the concert performance is Dita Lūriņa-Egliena.
