What is known
Recall that earlier authoritative sources reported that the game, which will be released this year, will be a direct continuation of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022) and was originally developed as a major addition, which later turned into a full-fledged game.
Insider under the nickname BobNetworkUK Shared some interesting facts:
developers from Sledgehammer Games studio will fix the shortcomings made in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022); the usual mini-map and the “Ninja” ability will again appear in the game, but it may be available only with a certain piece of equipment, for example, boots; Call of Duty (2023) will return to the “War” mode, which was first introduced in Call of Duty: WWII; the overall design of the new shooter has not undergone significant changes compared to MW2.
