Xbox Live Gold Membership to be Replaced with Xbox Game Pass Core in September

▲ Foreign media Windows Central editor Jez Corden’s breaking news article pointed out that Xbox Live Gold gold members will be changed to Xbox Game Pass Core in September.

Microsoft (Microsoft) has focused its attention on Xbox Game Pass in recent years, and many machine fans have long expected that Microsoft will stop the Xbox Live Gold Subscription subscription service. A number of foreign media and video game information websites recently pointed out that Microsoft will terminate the 21-year-old Xbox Live Gold membership service from September 1 and replace it with a new service, Xbox Game Pass Core.

According to a number of foreign media reports, the news comes from the breaking news article of Windows Central editor Jez Corden, referring to the change of Xbox Live Gold gold membership to Xbox Game Pass Core, while the cost of Xbox Game Pass Core remains unchanged at $9.99 per month/59.99 per year Dollar. Existing Xbox Live Gold subscribers will all be converted to Xbox Game Pass Core subscribers at that time. However, Jez Corden later deleted the article, so the exact information still needs to be officially confirmed.

The introductory subscription game list for Xbox Game Pass Core will grow in the coming months. At present, Xbox Game Pass Core includes online play qualifications, 25 Xbox Game Pass game lineups are provided every month, some games are added or replaced month by month, and weekly special games are provided (same as gold members provide weekly special games). The gold member games will stop giving away from September 1, and users who have received them can continue to play.
