Ivan Trojan (59) and Klara Pollerova-Trojanova (51) were among the most stable and beautiful couples in the Czech show business. They lived together for over thirty years and have four children together. However, at the end of last year, they announced the end of their marriage and are currently living separately. Trojan attended the festival in Karlovy Vary this year alone, and it was evident that he was not going through the happiest period. He embraced the nightlife and did not appear as much alongside his colleagues from the industry.
On the other hand, Klara, who usually keeps her private life carefully guarded, made an exception. She gave an interview to her son Frantisek (24), who portrayed the role of a journalist in the magazine Vital and asked his mother questions. Trojanova spoke about the depression she had been struggling with for a long time, and the conversation also touched on the failed marriage, the death of her parents, and her career.
“Given that I had my life planned out and followed a certain scheme, but fate had other plans, I started to realize that sometimes you can’t force things and it’s better to let them flow a little,” Klara said in her first interview for Vital regarding her failed marriage with Ivan Trojan.
The end of their marriage was revealed in November 2022. Trojanova subsequently moved out of the family home in Koch and into an apartment in Smichov. The division of assets and an agreement regarding their two underage children followed.
“If someone has Samaritan tendencies, it’s nice, but it doesn’t lead anywhere, and it’s exhausting. I must admit that I found myself in a very interesting phase of life, and I am grateful for it despite all the pain,” Klara said to her son.
She also talked about the death of her parents, whom she took care of until the very end. Trojanova is also involved in palliative care work at the Vlkova Family Foundation and often encounters the deaths of the youngest ones.
“I always thought that the worst thing a person could experience with their parents is to bury their own father. But I found out that it’s not the case at all,” the actress confessed. “By being with my father until the very end, I realized that death is not something tragic. It just happens,” she added.
She admitted that in recent years, her career has taken a back seat because she prioritized raising her children. However, she is now considering returning to theater roles and dedicating herself more to singing. She wouldn’t mind film roles either, but she is more cautious in this regard because she believes she is not as skilled in front of the camera.
The interview concluded with Klara reminiscing about raising her two older sons, whom she raised during a time when she was struggling with depression. She admitted that she was stricter with them than with her two younger sons.
“It was due to the fact that I was extremely tired at that time, having to juggle many things at once, and on top of that, I was taking medication for depression. The children suffered from the fact that sometimes I snapped at them out of exhaustion, frustration, but unfortunately, that’s just how it is,” Klara concluded, revealing that she has been dealing with depression since 2001.
How has the end of their marriage impacted Klara Trojanova’s emotional state and how has she been coping with it
He custody of their four children were reportedly settled amicably between the former couple.
During the interview, Klara opened up about the difficulties she faced in her personal life, particularly her battle with depression. She admitted that she had been struggling for a long time and that the end of her marriage was one of the factors contributing to her emotional state. She also spoke about the loss of her parents, which further added to her challenges.
“I had always envisioned my life a certain way and followed a specific plan, but sometimes life takes unexpected turns. I have come to realize that forcing things doesn’t always work, and it’s better to go with the flow,” Klara shared during her first interview with Vital.
Since the announcement of their separation, Ivan Trojan has been seen attending public events alone, indicating that he too is going through a difficult period. He has been less visible in the industry, spending more time embracing the nightlife.
On the other hand, Klara is known for keeping her private life out of the public eye. However, she made an exception by agreeing to be interviewed by her son Frantisek, who portrayed a journalist in the magazine Vital. This allowed her to share her perspective on various aspects of her life, including her failed marriage and her career.
The couple, who were considered one of the most stable and beautiful in the Czech show business, had been together for over three decades before announcing their separation in November 2022. Despite the end of their marriage, they have managed to settle the division of assets and reach an agreement regarding their children’s custody amicably.
As Ivan Trojan and Klara Trojanova navigate this new chapter in their lives, their fans remain hopeful that they will find happiness and fulfillment individually.
