Russia Claims West is Failing Promised Agreements on Ammonia Export and SWIFT System, Threatens to Terminate “Grain Agreement”

Russia once again repeated its theses that the West is not fulfilling the “promised agreements” regarding the export of Russian ammonia, and is also not reconnecting Rosselkhozbank to the SWIFT system.

The aggressor country also came up with the idea that Ukrainian food is allegedly exported not to countries in need, but to states with high and above average income levels, including the EU.

Thus, Russia opposes further extension of the agreement and informed the Turkish and Ukrainian sides, as well as the UN Secretariat, about this.

“This means the withdrawal of guarantees for the safety of navigation, the curtailment of the maritime humanitarian corridor, the restoration of the regime of a temporarily dangerous area in the northwestern Black Sea and the disbandment of the SKC in Istanbul. Without Russia’s participation, the Black Sea Initiative will cease to function from July 18,” the statement said. .

At the same time, the resumption of the “grain corridor” is allowed in Russia.

“If Western capitals really value the Black Sea initiative, then let them seriously think about fulfilling their obligations and actually withdrawing Russian fertilizers and food from sanctions. Only if concrete results are obtained, and not promises and assurances, Russia will be ready to consider restoring “deals,” the aggressor country’s Foreign Ministry adds.

Termination of the “grain agreement”

Today, the press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov said that the agreements on the “grain agreement” were actually terminated.

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Belarus handed over a note to Ukraine, in which it stated that the initiative should be completely stopped from July 18.

At the same time, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan believes that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants the agreement to continue. He plans to discuss the initiative at a meeting with the dictator in August.
