There has been a lot of buzz regarding the new Infinix phone in the past few days. Many have claimed that the brand copied the design aesthetics of Nothing Phone (2). Well, live images of the new phone have been revealed. The device is called the Infinix GT 10 Pro and has a similar design to the Nothing Phone (2). However, it is not an exact copy.
However, the appearance of the device is not the only factor to consider. And Infinix knows that all too well. That’s why the Infinix GT 10 Pro aims to offer premium gaming features without the high price tag. In simpler terms, the Infinix GT 10 Pro is a budget-friendly phone with the looks and performance of a high-end device.
Look closely at the design of the Infinix GT 10 Pro
As shown in the official images, the Infinix GT 10 Pro phone features a semi-transparent design from the back. It looks like the recently launched Nothing Phone (2), but there are no LED lights on the back of the device. Although not an exact replica, the GT 10 Pro does share some similarities with the Nothing Phone (2).
back design
In simpler terms, Infinix GT 10 Pro has the same design idea as Nothing Phone (2) but has a different implementation. This is not new in the world of smartphones. We’ve seen many smartphones in the past come with a semi-transparent back design.
Semi-transparent back
For example, Xiaomi released the Mi 9 with a transparent back design back in 2018. So, if you were wondering if Infinix would have trouble releasing a transparent back design, the answer is quite “obvious”.
Environmentally friendly packaging
But, yeah, one of the things that impressed me about the Infinix GT 10 Pro is the box. As Infinix says, you can use the box as an eco-friendly music speaker. So, you won’t be sitting on a shelf just collecting dust or just trashing the environment right out of the box.
