Anyone who has experienced it themselves in a family or close circle of acquaintances knows how suddenly and fundamentally life can change after a serious illness or an accident. Then the question often has to be answered very quickly as to whether provisions have been made so that a relative can act responsibly and legally binding, for example via a power of attorney.
Understandably, there is some uncertainty about the scope, form, timing and impact of such documents on this sensitive issue.
In order to take away this uncertainty, to provide information and, of course, to answer your specific questions, Maria Wirnitzer has invited Peter Dingler, a proven expert who has been working as a lawyer for many years.
