Russian specialists should look inside the Western equipment and armaments seized in Ukraine and perform reverse engineering – i.e. reproduce an exact copy according to the model. This was announced by President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the propaganda TV channel “Rossiya-1”.
According to him, Russia’s armaments are “all effective”, but some, such as the T-90 “Прорыв” tanks, are “the best in the world”. “But the opponent also produces modern equipment,” Putin admitted. “If there is an opportunity to look inside and see if there is something there that can be applied to us, why not?” said Putin.
