Man United’s Potential Move for Harry Kane and Squad Makeover Plans – Latest Transfer News

Manchester United would keep their hopes of signing Harry Kane alive, despite the latest offers from Bayern Munich.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would prefer to see the club’s all-time goalscorer walk away from the Premier League if he were to sell him, but he has so far turned down two offers for the Bayern Munich striker. The German outfit are believed to be weighing a third offer for Kane, whose contract expires next year.

If that is rejected and Harry is still a Spurs player come August, Man Utd will consider a move, but they must first recoup funds from a series of player sales.

© ProShots – Erik ten Hag wants a makeover in his squad

As we revealed in the summer of last year, Ten Hag wants players with “character” and would have opened the door for a number of players moving forward into the upcoming season. Fred, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek, among others, have all been told the club would take offers for them, as has now been reported everywhere.

The manager has singled out Sofyan Amrabat as his main target for midfield ahead of the new season and will make a move for the player from Fiorentina once the Andre Onana and Hojlund deals are finalized and he moves to Fred.

Authoritative sources have informed us that Ten Hag wanted either Declan Rice or Frenkie de Jong for the next window, but the ongoing and protracted acquisition saga has severely squeezed the head coach’s transfer budget, causing him to look to Amrabat for someone to bolster the double pivot of his 4-2-3-1 formation next season.

The 26-year-old Moroccan is already at CAA Stellar, one of the UK’s top agencies that oversees, or is at least mid-level involved in, most of the biggest deals going on in the Premier League.

Amrabat has only one year left on his contract with the Serie A outfit and a deal can be struck for around £20m. Given who his agency is, it’s unlikely, but not impossible, that Amrabat will agree to a move to Saudi Arabia, something the Pro League is considering.
