NAPLES (ITALPRESS) – A three-story building collapsed in Torre del Greco, in Corso Umberto 61, in the province of Naples. The building was inhabited and three people were pulled alive from the rubble. On the spot carabinieri, police and firefighters with five teams.
Traffic was blocked in a large perimeter around the collapse area. Also activated the Usar teams, specialized in search and rescue among the rubble.
There are no people missing in the collapse of the building, announced the prefect of Naples, Claudio Palomba, taking stock of the rescue operations in the Town Hall.
Only two other people were injured as they passed along the course.
Investigations into the collapse were initiated by the Torre Annunziata prosecutor’s office and entrusted to the Carabinieri.
