Reader of Plovdiv24.bg contacted us to share his indignation against the impudents who drive at more than 140km/h on the Trakia highway.
“I’m tired of half-idiots giving you the left lane to make way for them. And that’s because you “prevent” them from breaking the law by driving at over 140 km/h. It often happens when I’ve already started overtaking, and someone behind me has already accelerated, is driving over the limit, and it starts to shine on me like crazy to get home faster”he says in his report.
The Plovdiv resident is angry at the lack of control over “Thrakia”:
“I use the highway along a fairly large perimeter from Plovdiv in the direction of Burgas and back, but unfortunately I do not see any control by authorities other than the Ministry of the Interior. There are no cameras, no moving patrols that instantly fine and take down the numbers of such morons?
The driver offers an interesting solution to the problem he encountered in the West.
“Let a police patrol drive in the left lane of the highway at 140/145 km/h. Then let’s see how the brats will drive at 200 km/h and if they will devote themselves to the law enforcement agencies, like the rest of the traffic? Why does it have to come to death every year? The other thing is that speed cameras need to be put in more places on the motorway instead of pointless places on secondary roads where the limit is 90km/h”. he adds.
