Dhe certificates for the technical graduation projects were handed over to the graduates of the polytechnic school in Baden in the Baden Chamber of Commerce.
It was a great and proud moment for the students of the current course at the Polytechnic School in Baden. In the hall of the Baden Chamber of Commerce, they presented their various projects and works from their chosen departments and received certificates.
A total of seven departments presented their work: wood/construction, office/commerce, health/beauty/social affairs, tourism, metal, electronics and the intensive course for secondary schools. Among other things, the wood/construction students were involved in the design of shop windows for various companies. The tourism experts created a cookbook. The metal and electrical participants created application folders with a metal wrapping. The areas of health/beauty/social dealt with the basics of cosmetics and body care. Everyone was in constant contact with various companies. It is not for nothing, according to Polytechnic Director Barbara Kogler: “The Polytechnic School is the right step towards a career.”
All poly students this year have fixed commitments
What those responsible are particularly pleased about is that all graduates of this year’s Poly course have firm commitments for higher schools or fixed places for apprenticeships in the regional economy. This fact particularly pleases the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce in Baden, who ceremoniously handed over the certificates to the students during the event. The fact that everyone has a fixed school or apprenticeship place is said to have happened for the first time in this form.
“The Polytechnic School Baden is an important cooperation partner for the economy. Our companies need skilled workers – this is where the Poly can provide sound basic vocational training,” says Andreas Marquardt, head of the Baden Chamber of Commerce district office. He can only recommend every company to contact the poly “to find the best possible apprentices for their company”.
