Once the concert of the Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes de SummerStage in Central Park had started, it was canceled due to the large number of people who entered the venue.
The site had capacity for about 5,000 attendees, but the organizers estimate that due to the overflow, some 12,000 fans of the popular artist entered.
Some attendees thought that there are larger spaces in Central Park for concerts of this type.

βIt was well organized, the problem was security on the line. Many people hid, many people entered by force and well when the singer showed up, the place overflowed, which is too small for a singer like Juanes, who is a world-renowned singer,” said one of the assistants.
In a statement, SummerStage CEO Heather Lubov said it’s the first time in 30 years they’ve had to halt an ongoing concert for a non-weather-related issue.
The singer, for his part, spoke through his Twitter account, where he expressed in a video his sadness at the interruption of the concert, emphasizing that security will always be the most important thing for him.
Sad that we couldn’t finish the show in New York but your safety will always come first ππ»ππ»ππ» Hoping to see you again soon. pic.twitter.com/eARhveH1Ji

Some comments on social networks refer to the lack of understanding of the organizers about the fame of Juanes and that such a large attendance of spectators at the concert was to be expected.
How sad, they did not realize how gigantic the artist is @JUANES

It is also a free concert.
What did you expect!!! It’s Juanes, a world-renowned artist and one of the fewest Latin American artists, a space with a capacity for 5,000 for him, it’s very, very little and on top of that it’s free, everyone is going to go!!
