This week, seven films, two of which are domestic, will be screened in movie theaters. Tom Cruise reprises his role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt ‘Our Mission is Danger’ sequel of the series ‘Mission: Impossible-Deadly Reckoning Part One’ on the big screen.
Deadly Showdown
‘Mission Impossible: Deadly Reckoning Part One’, chronicles the adventures of iconic agent Ethan Hunt and his IMF team. Rebecca Ferguson portrays the character of Ilsa Faust for the third time in the action movie, in which Tom Cruise will give life to the character of Ethan Hunt, and names such as Simon Pegg, Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby and Ving Rhames are also in the cast.
The director of the movie is Christopher McQuarrie, who has been in the director’s chair since the fifth sequel of the series.
God Forgotten Place
directed by Hlynur Palmason ‘God Forgotten Place’The production, which deals with the concepts of faith, death, nature, family, time and morality, tells the story of a Danish priest who came to Iceland in the 19th century to build a church, moving away from his original intention, his own moral and humanitarian ideals as he confronted nature and the islanders.
The Unexpected Journey of Harold Fry
Directed by Hettie Macdonald, starring Jim Broadbent, Penelope Wilton, and Monika Gossmann ‘Harold Fry’s Unexpected Journey’ deals with a drama story:
Harold Fry, a retired civil servant, writes a letter to cheer up his former colleague Queenie, whom he learns has cancer. Then, just as he was about to send the letter to the mail, he decides to deliver it himself and starts walking towards the nursing home, 800 km away, where his friend is hospitalized. During his walk, he confronts his past mistakes, losses and successes and rediscovers his life.
Crazy Dude Finnik
Russian production directed by Denis Chernov ‘Crazy Dude Finnik’tells the story of the sweet Finnik, who cannot get along with the owners of the house he lives in, and drives them out one by one in his own way.
Horror movies of the week
US-Australian co-production directed by Andrew Traucki ‘Reef: Bloody Pursuit’ with local productions ‘Semur 4: Judgment’ ve ‘progress’ took its place on the big screen as the horror movies of the week.
