The incident occurred on July 6 at a bus stop, when the family was returning home from a walk.
In the Polish city of Opole, at the Wiosenna-Prószkowska bus stop, a man and a woman attacked a 45-year-old Ukrainian woman who was returning from a walk with three children aged 8, 10 and 13. This is reported by Nowa Trybuna Opolska.
The publication says that an unknown man and woman aged 25-27 heard that the mother was talking to her children in Ukrainian. Then the couple came up and started to pester them and insult them.
The newspaper writes: “These people behaved aggressively and did not allow the Ukrainians to go home, blocking the road. They shouted – Are you Ukrainians? Putin you once ***. You came here under the program “Family 500+, Ku**a Ukrainian”.
The Ukrainian called the police. Meanwhile, an aggressive couple who entered the store for a while came out and the man showed the middle finger to the Ukrainians. In addition, he exclaimed “Glory to Putin” and “To hell with Ukraine.” Then they got on the bus.
The prosecutor’s office was informed about the incident. Now law enforcement officers are looking for the attackers, they face up to three years in prison for insulting on ethnic grounds.
The woman told reporters that she has been coming to work in Poland for 20 years, where she works as a cleaner. The children came to visit her for holidays.
Earlier it was reported that in Lublin, Poland, two Polish citizens attacked a Ukrainian family. They beat a teenager and also a pregnant woman.
