Hélène Hendriks has scored wonderful numbers these weeks with De Oranjezomer, the summer replacement for Today Inside. Yet the Talpa leadership seems to have cheated the presenter.
Management not honest about live music costs?
Op Radio 538 Hendriks revealed that he regrets that there is no room for live music. “I really would have liked that, wouldn’t it, but that costs a lot of money,” she says. Radio sidekick Rick Romijn can’t believe what he hears: “No, man!”
Niels van Baarlen doesn’t see any problems for Hendriks and her summer TV program either: “That Guardian Angel (Marco Schuitmaker, ed.) Can’t come by?” The presenter then picks up: “So they fooled me?”
Tim Klijn: “Yes, I think so. You just got sucked into it. Did they really say that’s expensive? Well, man. There is no cheaper television.” Hendriks nevertheless stands up for Talpa. “We are already on location, which already costs a lot of money, so this was no longer possible, I understand that.”
