Russia Denies Continued Black Sea “Grain Initiative”

Press Secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov said that Russia has not made any statements about the continuation of the Black Sea “grain initiative”.

He stated this in a comment. Russian Interfax.

“We have not made any statements on this score,” Peskov said.

Reminder:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin stick to of one opinion on the extension of the “grain agreement”.

Formerly Putin declaredthat Russia will continue the grain agreement when the promises that were made to the country before are fulfilled.

UN Secretary General Guterres saidwhich hopes that the proposals sent to the President of Russia on the Black Sea Grain Initiative will help resolve the issue of its extension.

In particular, Guterres proposed to Russian President Putin to extend the “grain agreement” in exchange for connecting the “subsidiary” of “Rosselkhozbank” to the international payment system SWIFT.
