Despite the initial reluctance to the new James Bond impersonator, viewers won over the actor and quietly agreed with the producers that this blue-eyed blonde was a good choice for the new chapter franchise.

This only shows how important the role of the director is, who must uphold the conventions and good taste, especially when producing productions that belong to a certain canon. While creativity and a rich imagination are essential for an actor, it wouldn’t be a good thing if there wasn’t someone who made the final artistic decisions for the sake of the film.
