Details: Scholz was asked which of his colleagues he would go on a seven-day mountain hike with. In response, the chancellor noted that he could imagine such a campaign with French President Emmanuel Macron and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
“He’s also someone who I think could keep up in terms of sports and do it,” Scholz said of Sanchez, adding that there are a few other people “who are pretty good.”
With whom he categorically rejected the possibility of a campaign, it is with Putin.
