This Thursday morning at Carrera 8 with Calle 13 in the Cañahuate neighborhood of Valledupar, the well-known manager of Vallenato artists, Joaquín ‘Joaco’ Guillen, was a victim of crime when he was preparing to get into his truck after delivering clothes to a laundry.
The victim said that two robbers who were traveling on a motorcycle threatened him with a 38-caliber revolver until they managed to take $450,000 in cash, a watch, a bracelet, and a silver chain. He said that fortunately the cell phone was not taken because he had it hidden in the truck.
He also recounted that he managed to struggle with one of the robbers, but then the accomplice told him that he should hurry until they fled north of this city.
It was also known that residents of the sector noticed what happened after Joaco’s voices for help, giving him help until the arrival of the National Police, who checked the area to find videos from security cameras that would allow them to identify the robbers.
