Buddy Guy is considered a legend of Chicago blues. However, its story begins in Louisiana. The guitarist was born in 1936 on a plantation 100 miles from New Orleans.
Many of his fans see him as Eric Clapton’s successor: Joe Bonamassa.

He was just seven years old when he built his first guitar, using two strings attached to a piece of wood and held together with his mother’s bobby pins.
In 1957 he moved to Chicago and took part in numerous sessions for Chess Records alongside Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters. Known for his guitar style, he was subsequently voted into the league of the 25 best players of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.
