British sports car manufacturer Lotus has introduced a new modification of the Emira – the most powerful sports car with a four-cylinder engine in the company’s history.
Lotus presents a new version of the Emira, which will go down in history as a model with the most powerful four-cylinder engine in Lotus history. It is a Mercedes-AMG 2.0-liter unit that develops 365 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque.
The coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, while the maximum speed is 290 km/h. Such a sports car has multi-setting Eibach springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, 20-inch wheels and brakes with 370 mm discs. The Alcantara interior is equipped with 12-way adjustable sports seats, a built-in 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.25-inch touchscreen for multimedia. Available 560 W KEF audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The modification with the Mercedes-AMG unit differs from the version with the 400 hp Toyota six-cylinder engine, including a subframe made of aluminum instead of steel, and is 12 kg lighter.
The prices of the new version of Lotus Emira are already known: in Germany it will cost 96,000 euros, in Great Britain – 81,500 pounds. In addition, the prices are indicated for the special model Lotus Emira i4 First Edition, which will be the first to arrive on the market.
