/PHOTO GALLERY, COMPLETE PROGRAM FOR FRIDAY/ Lovers of rock music are finally waiting. The 19th edition of the Masters of Rock international open-air festival began on Thursday. Before noon, the gates of the liquor store in Vizovice opened and the first visitors poured into the premises even in rainy weather. The festival will offer four days full of rock and metal music.

A familiar venue awaits the fans with two stages like last year. But what will certainly be different about this year’s festival is the composition of the program. “However, the fundamentals remain the same. The program stands at the top of the world rock/metal scene, exceptional performances and performances by bands that, for example, have never visited the festival here in the Czech Republic,” explains Jiří Daron, director of the organizing agency Pragokoncert.
Not only fans, but also dozens of policemen are preparing for the Masters of Rock
In addition to music, the festival area will offer dozens of food stalls, beer tents, pubs, cafes, tea rooms, souvenir shops, tattoo studios, piercings, body-painting, entertainment and game zones, adrenaline sports, bungee jumping, excursions to Likérka R. Jelínek with tastings and many other attractions. “This year, too, fans will meet the stars of the festival and get autographs in the autograph tent,” adds Jiří Daron.
Stars of the first day:
KREATOR – Vizovice will experience a very intense thrash storm performed by these masters of their field, whose main driver is the famous wild boar Mille Petrozza (vocals, guitar). Visitors can expect a rampage in a modern sound coat.
