AC Milan formalized the signing of the striker on Thursday Christian Pulisic from Chelsea. The 24-year-old American has signed up until 2027 with an option for an additional season.
Pulisic started his professional career at Borussia Dortmund in the 2015-2016 season, aged 17. The club’s great hope from the start, he confirmed in the following three seasons, playing a total of 118 matches for Dortmund (16 goals). His good performances had attracted the interest of Chelsea, who signed him in 2019. In London, Pulisic alternated ups and downs for four seasons. He played 145 matches, scored 26 goals and participated in the conquest of the second Champions League of Bluesin 2021.
In a workforce where offensive options have never been lacking, Pulisic has never really managed to establish himself as a starter. For example, he only started eight Premier League games last season, also hampered by a knee injury. Versatile striker, playing more often on the left of the attack, Pulisic will help AC Milan fight for the title of Italian champion. The club of Charles De Ketelaere, Alexis Saelemaekers et Divock Origi finished last season in 4th place, qualifying for the Champions League but 20 points behind Napoli, champions.
Pulisic already has 60 caps (25 goals) with the United States, with whom he reached the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup, eliminated by the Netherlands (3-1). Two weeks ago, the Milanese club had already hosted Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea.
