A “significant part” of the facilities of the apprentice training center (CFA-BTP) in Roanne (Loire) has been the subject of acts of “vandalism”, informs us of a press release signed by the French building federation Auvergne -Rhône-Alpes (FFB ARA) and the BTP Loire federation. The two organizations “condemn” these facts. The building was notably hit by a “voluntary” fire, and thugs visibly entered the premises. The FFB ARA has announced that it is filing a complaint with a civil action.
Misunderstanding of the profession
“The recently renovated electricity workshop, as well as a large part of the reception facilities, classrooms, youth center…, were completely destroyed by fire”, can we read in the text sent to the press this July 3, 2023. The local representatives of the profession express their “misunderstanding”. “This center trains more than 150 young people each year and contributes to maintaining a job dynamic in the Roanne basin with companies.”
The union of employees FNCB-CFDT, for its part, expressed its “support” towards the employees of the establishment, deploring “the use of violence”. “It is incomprehensible to destroy places of learning, places of knowledge, where solutions are built for young people when companies trust them in the construction of their careers.”
