Russia will view the handover of US F-16 jets to Ukraine as a nuclear threat. This was announced by the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov.
In an extensive interview with the Internet portal Lenta.ru, Sergey Lavrov stated that the US and its satellites create risks of a direct armed conflict with Russia. It can have disastrous consequences. According to him, Russia has informed the three NATO nuclear states – USA, Great Britain and France. She said she could not ignore the F-16’s ability to carry nuclear weapons.
