The authors of the Croatian YouTube channel about gardening and gardening Prirodnoe Zdravlje in a new video toldhow to prepare a natural insecticide from just four ingredients – cinnamon, lemon juice, coffee grounds and liquid soap – that will scare away ants from the house and yard.
“Ants cannot tolerate cinnamon. It irritates them, so they avoid it,” the authors of the video noted. “The smell of lemon and coffee acts as a natural repellent, and liquid soap will make it difficult for insects to move.”
Insecticide preparation
1 st. l. dissolve cinnamon in 1 liter of warm water. Add 2 tsp to the solution. lemon juice and 1 tsp coffee grounds. Pour in 1 tsp. liquid soap. Mix everything and leave for a couple of hours. Strain and pour into a spray bottle. Treat areas with ants with insecticide.
“This organic insecticide is effective and affordable, and the ants never come back because the smell repels them,” the experts assured. “Be persistent and the ants will disappear.”
