All regular tickets for the three concerts that Taylor Swift will give in July 2024 in the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam are sold out. 55,000 tickets were available per show. There are still some VIP tickets left.
The sale of tickets for Swift in other countries led to serious problems online. For example, things went wrong in France on Tuesday on the French website of Ticketmaster, the company that organizes the sale of tickets. A week ago there were problems with ticket sales for Swift concerts in Singapore. In the United States, fans even sued Ticketmaster when the system could not handle the large influx of fans.
On social media, Dutch fans complained that they had to queue for a long time and sometimes missed out. More than a hundred tickets were for sale on Marktplaats on Wednesday at the beginning of the evening. The cards were often offered far above the regular price or sold by bid.
Concert promoter Greenhouse Talent emphasizes that “tickets are in the name of the main booker, so tickets via Marktplaats and other resale sites do not give access”. The name of the main booker is checked at the entrance to the ArenA.
Fans previously had to register on a special website for a chance to buy tickets. Greenhouse Talent does not want to say how many people have registered for this.
