Jakarta – Demand for apartment units in DKI Jakarta continues to increase. The Indonesia Property Market Q2 2023 survey conducted by Rumah.com stated that the demand for apartments in DKI Jakarta rose 15% on a quarterly basis.
In addition, the survey also noted that the apartment price index rose by 0.9%, followed by the apartment supply index which fell slightly by 0.4%. Because of this, the apartment market is projected to bounce back to pre-pandemic demand levels in 2023.
Responding to this, housing developers, especially apartments, are increasingly accelerating their projects. President Director of Ciputra Group, Candra Ciputra said, even though there are challenges in the economic climate that have not fully recovered after the pandemic, developers are confident that going forward the demand for residential apartments will continue to increase.
“Buyers (buyers) are increasingly optimistic when entering 2023, where the government projects growth of 5.3% (yoy) in the second quarter of this year. At the beginning of 2023, purchases of Transit Oriented Developments (TOD) apartments rose 10.3%. Under these conditions, The Newton 2 apartment will emerge as one of the best choices for urban housing in Jakarta,” said Candra Ciputra in his statement, Wednesday (12/7/2023).
This is also what makes them optimistic about completing The Newton 2 apartment soon, one of their products which is currently doing roof caps alias topping off or a sign of the completion of construction work.
Candra said, Topping Off The Newton 2 apartment was an important milestone in Ciputra Group’s journey in realizing its commitment to excellence, innovation, and providing comfortable housing for residents of The Newton 2. community life.
“Our vision goes beyond the walls of these units, and hopes for a vibrant, inclusive and thriving community where residents connect with each other socially, and creates memories that will last a lifetime,” said Candra
The Newton 2 Apartment is located in the Ciputra World 2 Jakarta superblock complex, where several high rise building projects have already existed before, such as The Orchard Satrio, The Residence Satrio, The Suites, Ascott Sudirman Jakarta (serviced apartments), and The Newton 1.
On the same occasion, Senior Ciputra Group Artadinata Djangkar explained, Ciputra World 2 Jakarta is a continuation of the Ciputra World 1 Jakarta development project which is now the icon of the city of Jakarta.
The Ciputra World Jakarta 1 superblock area, continued Artadinata Djangkar, stands on 5.5 hectares of land, and has built and operated the DBS Bank Tower (office building), Raffles Residence Jakarta apartment, The Residence Apartments, and Ascott (serviced apartments). A
“Why do urbanites choose to invest in The Newton 2, apart from the only apartment in the Golden Triangle area of Jakarta which costs from Rp. 1 billion, also because they feel the benefits of living “in the heart” of Jakarta, which is close to their places of work and business centers. So it’s time to go back to the city and live in an apartment,” he said.
