Dallas: The 7th Syro Malabar Inter-Parish Talent Fest (IPTF 2023) will be staged from July 14 to 16 at St. Thomas Syro Malabar Forona Church, Dallas. Chicago Syro-Malabar Bishop Mar Joy Alappat will inaugurate the fest. The Inter-Parish Talent Fest is an exchange of artistic talent from nine Syro-Malabar parishes in the Texas and Oklahoma region.
This is the third time Dallas has hosted the festival, which started in 2010. This year, more than 600 artistic talents are participating in the talent fest in 20 competition categories such as music, dance, speech, mono act, Bible quiz and skit.
Vicar of Forona Fr. Preparations are being done by various committees under the leadership of James Nirapel, coordinators Charlie Angadisseril, Janet Josi and Jeevan James. Organizers Charlie Angadisseril, Tommy Joseph, Jimmy Mathew and Jeevan James informed that Dallas St. Thomas Forona Church is well prepared for this event, which will be attended by more than 2,000 people along with contestants and family members.
