The New York Rangers have signed defenseman K’Andre Miller to a new two-year contract.
The agreement will bring him $3.872 million annually, according to what Chris Johnston of TSN.
The 23-year-old Miller was a first-round pick, 22nd overall, by Rangers in the 2018 draft.
In his third year with the Rangers, the defenseman had nine goals and 34 assists, two career highs, in 79 games. He has 75 points in 214 games since his first NHL game in the 2020-2021 season.
Miller spent the last year of his rookie contract which counted for $925,000 on the team’s payroll.
