[New Tang Dynasty News, Beijing Time, July 12, 2023]The first “Global Chinese Beauty Contest” held by NTDTV, after global auditions and interviews, was finally confirmed on Tuesday, and 40 Chinese-American beauties were shortlisted for the on-site selection in New York.
In the first “NTDTV Global Chinese Beauty Contest”, 40 beauties of Chinese descent from 4 continents around the world stood out from hundreds of beauties in global auditions and online interviews, and were successfully shortlisted for the on-site selection in New York.
Lucy Zhou, General Manager of “NTDTV Global Chinese Beauty Contest”: “We read their resumes, watched videos of their evening dresses, watched videos of their “Mission of Beauty”, and then went to interviews. They actually passed five hurdles. Six generals.”
The on-site audition will be held from September 24th to September 30th at The Performing Arts Center at SUNY Purchase College.
Next, the 40 shortlisted beauties will receive a series of training on walking, speech, and traditional Chinese culture to prepare for the on-site selection competition.

“NTDTV Global Chinese Beauty Contest” is one of the series of international cultural and artistic activities hosted by NTDTV. Tickets will go on sale in a few weeks. On the day of the finals, contestants will showcase seven evening dresses exclusively presented by the clothing brand “Shenyun Dancer”.
