Attacker U-19 Indonesian Women’s National Team Claudia Scheunemann hopes to appear solid against Thailand in the semifinals AFF Women’s U-19 Cup 2023.
In the semifinals the U-19 Women’s National Team will face Thailand. This match will take place at the Jakabaring Stadium, Palembang on Thursday (13/7) evening, starting at 19.30 WIB.
Claudia was very enthusiastic about this historic match. The striker, who has collected four goals, is the same as Ayunda Anggraini’s goal collection, hoping to appear fierce in the semifinals.
“Next, you can enter the semifinals and win so that you enter the final and win the 19 year tournament,” said Claudia in a video uploaded by PSSI on the Youtube channel on Tuesday (11/7).
For the semifinal match, Claudia hopes that Indonesia U-19 Women can focus on three aspects, namely calm, maintaining emotions, and team cohesiveness. It is hoped that the weaknesses created in the three group stage matches will not occur so that Thailand cannot move.
“So far [tiga pertandingan babak grup] our game is pretty good, but the game should be more calm. Do not be emotional. The cooperation must be even better,” said Timo Scheunemann’s daughter.
Thailand will be a difficult opponent for Rudy Eka Priyambada’s team because they have a better tradition of women’s football. Thailand also qualified for the semifinals by winning Group B status.
In the previous two matches, Thailand did not lose against Myanmar and the Philippines. In these two matches Anaphon Amanpong and his friends scored seven goals and never conceded.
The U-19 Women’s Indonesian National Team also won in three group stage matches. The difference is, Indonesia collected 16 goals and conceded only once. The only conceded goal was against Laos.
